Terms of Service

Last updated: July 20, 2026

slateDjin ("the Service", "we", "us") is a digital menu platform that turns a restaurant, café, or similar venue's menu into a QR code guests can scan on their phone. slateDjin is operated by Artem Djinenko as an individual, reachable at djinenkoartem@gmail.com. These Terms govern your use of slateDjin at slatedjin.com.

1. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account or using slateDjin, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you add to your account and your venues (menu content, prices, images, contact details), and for keeping your password secure. You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement to create an account.

3. What you can publish

You keep ownership of the menu content and images you upload. By uploading them, you give slateDjin a licence to store, display, and process that content in order to run the Service — including generating automatic translations when you purchase that add-on. Don't upload content you don't have the right to use, or content that's illegal, misleading, or infringes someone else's rights.

4. Subscriptions and one-time purchases

slateDjin's core digital menu is free to use. Some features are paid add-ons, billed per venue:

  • Recurring add-ons (item photos, badges, premium fonts) are billed monthly until you cancel them.
  • One-time purchases (automatic translation bundles, QR code logo embedding) are billed once and don't recur.

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles your card details, invoicing, and applicable sales tax — slateDjin never sees or stores your payment card information. Paddle's own terms apply to the checkout itself.

5. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel a recurring add-on at any time from your account Settings; it stays active until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

6. Service availability

We do our best to keep slateDjin available and your published menus reachable, but the Service is provided "as is," without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. We're not liable for losses caused by downtime, data loss, or third-party services (including Paddle, our hosting provider, or the AI translation provider) being unavailable.

7. Ending your account

You can stop using slateDjin at any time; email us to have your account and venue data deleted. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of the page.
