Privacy Policy

This page explains what data slateDjin collects, why, and what you can do about it. slateDjin is operated by Artem Djinenko, reachable at djinenkoartem@gmail.com.

1. What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, and a hashed (not plain-text) password.
• Venue & menu data: venue name, type, address/phone if you add them, theme settings, and the menu content you create — dish names, descriptions, prices, and photos, in whichever languages you configure.
• Payment data: we do not collect or store card details. Paddle, our payment provider, handles checkout and shares back only what we need to run the Service — your plan status, purchased add-ons, and transaction IDs.
• Basic server logs: standard web server logs (IP address, request time, browser type) used for security and debugging, not for tracking or advertising.

2. How we use it

• To run your account and display your published menu to your guests.
• To process payments and manage your add-ons, via Paddle.
• To generate automatic translations of your menu content, via OpenAI's API, only for the languages you've purchased translation for.
• To send you account-related emails (e.g. password resets). We don't send marketing emails.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share the minimum necessary with:

• Paddle.com Market Limited — payment processing and billing.
• OpenAI — only the menu text you submit, only when you use the automatic translation add-on.
• Our hosting provider (DigitalOcean) — hosts the servers and database.

4. Cookies

slateDjin uses a session cookie to keep you signed in to the admin panel. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. How long we keep data

We keep your account and venue data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, email us and we'll delete your account and venue data, except where we're required to keep transaction records for tax or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing djinenkoartem@gmail.com. If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, this includes the rights available to you under GDPR.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
